Justin joins the DFC team

We would like to introduce Justin Sexton as the newest member of our sales team. He’s taken the place of Jamie Trotter who moved to St. Louis. Justin is from the Fort Smith area, has traveled extensively, and brings real world experience to the table. He is owner of a cabinet/woodworking shop, and has a great working knowledge of sales. Jamie will be missed, but Justin is working hard to fill the spot, and we look forward to great things. Flooring, Lights, and Counter Tops on the Web

It's been said, "Too many cooks, spoil the stew." The same goes for home products retailers. On line selling has its places, but flooring, lights, and counter tops aren't among them. I can't imagine buying something simply by looking at a picture on the web. Sure, the e-retailer may send a swatch out, but is that swatch from the current production run? Can you be sure of what you're getting? Can you really tell what that finish is on the chandelier in the photo?

Search Engine Optimization Companies are a Waste of Money

Traditional advertising is a circular concept. A business spends money with another business to create advertising for the first business to get new customers and new sales so the first company can spend more with the second company to get more customers and sales. Still a viable concept, but antiquated.

Spring is in the Air

Although there's been a stretch of bad weather lately, I always think Spring is the best time of year. Not to hot or cold, everything's turning green, and things become anew. This is the time I also spend rethinking how I can better service my customers. I'm a firm believer that you can always build a better mousetrap.
