Elections 2008

As November 4th nears, we are on the brink of selecting a new set of leaders for our country. This is not only for the presidency, but for the cabinet members, for the retiring Supreme Court judges, and for a slew of other positions that will change with a new president. The direction of our great nation for the next four to eight years depends on this election. Neither candidate really excites me. Among our large population, these two are the best we can nominate? We need change, we need direction, we need leadership, we need values, we need courage, we diplomacy, we need support, we need security, we need jobs, we need alternative fuels, we need a clean environment, we need  to pull together, we need a bright future for our children. We don't need a politician that will do what it takes just to get elected, or a politician that provides no new ideas. Politicians, particularly senators, are usually after one thing... their own political agendas. Vote with your head, and with your heart, and may God bless our great country.
